Izvor Oreb

Born on 7th November 1946 in Vela Luka on the Island of Korčula and educated at the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb University, Izvor Oreb is a renowned Croatian painter, sculptor, and poet. He is an extremely accomplished and versatile artist, celebrated for his painting, his hazy, dreamlike landscapes, mostly of his native island. He is also an acknowledged poet. Many of his verses have been set to music and performed by popular Croatian singers and groups.
