Article Processing Charge

Transactions on Maritime Science (ToMS ) does not levy any Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or any other costs associated with the publication process. All aspects of manuscript handling—including submission, peer review, editorial processing, and final publication—are provided entirely free of charge.

This policy reflects our commitment to fostering equitable access to scientific knowledge and ensuring that publication opportunities are not limited by an author's financial resources. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and accessibility without imposing financial obligations on contributors.

This model is made possible through the generous support of institutional grants from University of Split, funding provided by Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of Republic of Croatia, and dedicated budgetary contributions from the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split as publisher.
